Virginia Tech Transfer 2013

This waiting process is horrrrible!

no news for anyone?

None :frowning: Knowing me, I will probably get denied.

The only news I received on Friday was my financial aid (with exact numbers for each semester) was posted on my account but still no official acceptance; however I still have a bird. This whole process is becoming a tease

I got an email saying that theyre reviewing my financial aid application tuesday, then when I checked on Saturday I had a Hokie Bird, so I probably got it Friday? But no official acceptance yet.

Stillll nothing…

Where would your Hokie Bird located on the Guest Account Page? And if you havent recieved a Hokie bird yet does tha mean you got rejected? thanks for all of the help

yes they definitely want you to take science with the lab…i applied my freshman year to transfer and i had to spend this entire past year (my sophomore year) taking the two lab classes and two labs. take them over the summer if you can. theyre much easier then.

nothing here either…

I gots nothing but nonetheless I hope everyone just had a superb day of classes!!!

Anyone here who got accepted to Virginia Tech as an engineer transfer for summer session II know if you can begin your enrollment for the 1st summer session?

Been quiet on here…anymore birds given out lately? Still waiting. :(

if you havent recieved a bird yet does that mean you got denied?

No bird yet and no theyre still accepting people based on last years forum!

@mamerid, I’m wondering the same ):

Second semester freshman @ VCU, Psychology & Sociology double major
Last semester (15 credits): Psychology, Sociology, Bio & Bio lab; 3.7 GPA

This semester (18 credits): Sociology, Mass Comm, Statistics, Human Societies & Globalization, Writing & Rhetoric, and a WRLD 203 class

My high school and college transcripts finally made it in a solid month after the application was due. Is that screwing me over?

@lils71: Not sure! I’m in an almost identical situation as you. I also go to VCU haha. I’m hoping they send out birds this friday. If not, I think I’ll give up

@rottenapples: ugh, same :/

I applied to Communications and have gotten the “hokie bird” for financial aid and a transcript evaluation. I noticed the hokie bird last week around Wednesday. Does anyone have an idea on when I should find out my decision? Does the hokie bird have any indication on my decision? I just wonder if I will be denied since I haven’t heard back and other people have.

@Transfer15- you are in. Unless you get a D in one of your classes, you are in. You’ll probably get your letter soon, if not by around May 1st. They tend to send them out in the first week of each month. I got accepted mid March and got my letter around April 3rd or something like that.

If you were to get a Hokie Bird where would it be located on the Guest Account?
