Wailisted for fall, admitted to spring semester- Umiami

<p>Hello! I was waitlisted for the fall semester but admitted to the spring semester at Umiami. This is great for me considering I was probably at the bottom of the barrel out of the applicants pool but the question is what to do for the first semester. Would they allow me to attend another school or a community college and transfer my credits over? And would it only cost me half the tuition cost for the year since I would be transferring from another school?</p>

<p>Yes they will. This happened to my niece and she did her first semester at FIU ( local state school). They transferred all her credits with no problem and she started the Spring as she was a part of UM all along. She even rushed right away. </p>

<p>Thanks for the info! Also, if I may ask, how much financial aid and in what form did she get? Did being accepted for the spring affect her financial aid package?</p>
