Still no email in my inbox. @ahawkins are you an international student?

My daughter got off the Columbia Waitlist thru email yesterday and Yale Waitlist last Friday. She already committed to go Y. Congrats to Columbia class of 2019. For others, don’t get up hope there will be second wave.

@waitlisted1 just wondering, fu or college?

@sonyainva @asddfghjkl hello sorry it was quite late where i was so i couldn’t answer all of your questions!

I got into the college last night and i got the same email as @waitlisted1 and had to check my portal for the update. i’m a female from the UK fyi :slight_smile:

@asddfghjkl My daughter will be going to Yale.

I got off the waitlist for fu!! I got the same email and will be attending.

@ibbi1824
@waitlisted1
@k4vglitcher

Any special thing you did to get you off the waitlist?

So if we didn’t get an email, is it safe to say we’ve been rejected?

Wrote on continuous academic accomplishment and awards

Haven’t received anything yet… No update on the portal…

@StevenToCollege nope nothing special just wrote a 1 page supplementary letter after being waitlisted

So anyone who hasn’t received an email with an update by now is basically rejected? I’m so nervous

I’m the Canadian kid who got off the waitlist on thursday. @marshmallowpop How did you know about that?

Good luck to everyone still waiting!!

@mpusic417 Fu or college?

College. I still don’t believe it.

Has anyone who received the update been rejected? Is it possible that they already filled their waitlist spots with the students they accepted last week?

@mabacol this is the great question. Of course, CC is a tiny sample (although I would think that for people willing to undergo the waitlist trauma, there would be more activity.) The only people (4? if I counted correctly) on here who were contacted seemed to be admitted (and one was going to Yale…so…it would seem that they could let at least one more person in :)) 2 of the people were international (UK and Canada). Last year, it seemed like there were notifications of “super waitlists” that dragged out until July, but no sign of that here.
