<p>So I took the ACT December 11th and will receive the score on the 27th. However, I almost done with the common app and was thinking I should wait to submit it until I can enter my new ACT scores.
BUT...the colleges I am applying to all say to get my application in as soon as possible. And the deadline is January 1st... Any advice??</p>
<p>The postmark on your application is all that matters. Electronically or snail mail it after the 27th, if it will make you feel better. Or put the date of your test on the CA and then make sure ACT has your university codes, to send your scores to them. It only matters that you took the test before the application deadline.</p>
<p>Thank you! Do you think colleges care though at what date I submit. Would submitting that close to the deadline would hurt my application? (for colleges that specifically say “try to submit by early decemebr”)</p>
