Does anybody have any tips or strategies to get off the waitlist? Does anybody have any ideas on waitlist statistics? How many people get rejected and accepted? Thanks in advance.

UPDATE: For those who care

I was put on the priority waitlist, I have to maintain a 3.0 GPA and I’ll be admitted. My advice to anyone who sees this is appeal, and most importantly go in for a tour or just go into the admissions office and ask to speak to a counselor. Sell yourself, make them want to accept you, and ask how you can get off the waitlist.

How did you find out your were waitlisted?

The application tracker a letter in the mail told me I was waitlisted. The admissions counselor I talked to when I visited called me about a week after I visited and told me I was put on the priority waitlist.

I need to call and get my ID so I can track my app.

That’s good news TransferGopher!! Hopefully your GPA stays on track and you’ll be a Gopher come next fall. =D>
