believe I would go meet with them but I live in CA..makes it kind of hard when your parents wont pay for it let alone allow you to do so. Ive called many times and talked with admissions officers, which is the best I can do. and i have sent in letters, recs, and essays. im asking for advice from other ppl in the same situation, i didnt think that was so bad.

does anyone have the housing/enrollment stuff on their status page yet? i wonder if they updated it today since apparently they sent out more acceptances...

has anyone heard any recent news on the waitlist? anybody get in?

i talked to someone yesterday..they said they might be making some more offers early next week, but not certain. im going to call tomorrow and ask again, ill keep you updated :)

Has anyone heard from BC this week ?

any updates on the status of waitlist??

they will be deciding if they go to the waitlist this monday... should hear back from them within the next week or so i would assume

do you know how many people they plan on taking, if any??

Nicolie - pawned4 is talking about the transfer waitlist

Any recent news? The original wait list letter said that BC would be done with the wait list by June 16th. I'm guessing there was only one round of wait list acceptances then...

My Agora was updated today, I have the link to pay the deposit in my application status page. On the main Agora page, there's also now a link for my financial award, but as of now, there is no award I guess.

Hopefully this is good news.

Yeah, that has been a good sign all throughout the year. Congrats! I noticed that you are currently going to Notre Dame, would you go to BC over ND?

any transfer applicants agora sites change to show the enrollment link yet??

I just got a letter in the mail about 5 minutes ago from BC:

"Your patience in awaiting our decision on your waiting list status is deeply appreciated. Please understand that this period of time has been necessary to determine whether there will be available spaces in next year's class. Regretfully, I must inform you that our freshman class for September is filled, so we are unable to offer you admission to Boston College.

As you know from my previous correspondence, Boston College received over 30,000 applications for 2,250 openings in our freshman class. After extending admission offers to a limited number of wait listed students in May, our freshman class has now reached its capacity.

Your initial assignment to our waiting list should not be viewed as a negative commentary on your application, but rather as a reflection of the competition for admission to Boston College. Along with many other fine students, you have honored us with your interest in our University."

The basic jist, they sent out a wave of offers from the wait-list in May, and are now full. Though they could just be lying to make me feel better, but essentially it looks like they aren't taking any more students from the wait-list ='( sorry guys, but then again I'm sorry for myself too...

I just got the acceptance letter, now I have to choose between BC and Notre Dame. If BC had accepted me in December, I wouldn't have even applied to ND, haha.

I'm in, wow. My Agora changed and I sent in my deposit. Did anyone else clear?
Hang in there.

i'm not in...I wasn't expecting an acceptance so I kept my hopes low, but I'm still disappointed. I've wanted to go to BC for a while.

I got in :] I got the letter yesterday. now another decision ahhh

I just got a big envelope in the mail..!!! looks like I'm an eagle

Congratulation Pawne4. Welcome to Chestnut Hill.
