I haven't sent mine yet..

I haven’t either

nor have I. Columbia doesn’t let you send in updated grades, huh?
also who do we send our letters to? by email? or by mail to the admissions office

I was wondering the same thing!
I’m having a hard time figuring out which email address to send my letter to…

My college counselor told me to send it to the e-mail of the admissions officer of my region. Some people send it directly the admissions office, though, which seems to work…
I haven’t sent mine in yet either. I plan to do it within the next week.

I’ll be sending mine in next week too. I think I’ll just send it right to the admissions office and just call to confirm they have it.

Send it soon plumdum

They said not additional recc’s, but what about grades?

Hey, has any of you emailed the letter to the admissions office? If yes, then to what email address?

^ ugrad-ask@columbia.edu I think…not positive though.
Where did everyone else send theirs…?

What’s ugrad-confirm@columbia.edu for then? Most of my emails from Columbia (instructions on how to check decisions etc) came from there.

Did any one else send anything more creative than an update letter? I was reading this blog about all these “unique” ways people got off the waitlists at Ivy League schools, hahaha.

yeah…I’m not sure. Theres ugrad-online as well. maybe I’ll just call and ask. hope it’s not too late to send things in.
nah I’m just sending in an update letter.

I faxed mine directly to the admissions office today. I went with unique for all my other applications and that didn’t turn out well, so this was a serious letter, but I put everything I have into it.

I just faxed mine today as well. sigh Hoping I get in…

Did anyone manage to find out if ugrad-confirm@columbia.edu is the right email address?

I faxed mine too.
Do you think I should call the admissions to make sure if they got it?

I think you will get in too.

Haha thanks for the vote of confidence DMOC. I’m getting antsy b/c one of my friends just got off the Rice waitlist, and another got off the Duke waitlist. Hoping Columbia’s decisions come out soon…

Do you guys think that the fact that these schools [Duke/Vanderbilt/Rice] are already getting kids of the wait-lists indicates a really low yield for the big universities this year?
