Waiving health insurance: medicaid

Hi!
I was wondering if you have medicaid in a different state (NJ), can you waive the health insurance? I have been reading a variety of sites but even after reading them I am still confused. I just want to make sure that I don’t have to pay more than I have to; BU is quite expensive.

Does NJ Medicaid cover services in Massachusetts? You need to contact that state agency in New Jersey.

They said my plan only cover emergency care in a different state.

Then you need to get the BU health plan. Unless you plan on returning to NJ for follow up care.

Probably not; its quite far. Thanks, I was just freaking out because I saw that you could appeal and I wasn’t sure if I could or not and I read that someone got theirs waived with the same care as I do except in different state which is probably different…
