WashU requested financial docs from me today. Is it something positive?
It definitely is! At least they are considering your application
how long do we think they will admit students off the waitlist?? i love washu haha but I committed to emory so I’ll be happy no matter what
still really want to attend washu tho
im sure they would send out an email when they are finished. i got rejected everywhere except my local school so im dying out here
Me too. I can’t afford the other school I got into, so I either get off the WashU (or Colgate, but that’s almost definitely not happening this year) waitlist, or I have to take a gap year and try again next year. It’s not the end of the world, but I would still really like to have a structured future.
bruv I feel that so hard. I already took a gap year after last year, so now I’m extra desperate.
tbh I feel it will end around the end of June (considering some ppl who commit to washu but got off waitlist for other schools). I also love washu but I’m international so its quite unlikely they will take me:smiling_face_with_tear:
When filling out the enrollment information there is a section asking about suspensions/expulsions and the like. I believe that my transcript reported it, so I went ahead and was honest with them. I got into Olin. They still haven’t confirmed my enrollment deposit, so I’m not entirely sure what’s going to happen.
guys, if you feel stressed, know that you are not alone and don’t push yourselves too hard on trying to solve this waitlist process mystery… I studied washu’s common data sets that have been published for last decade, and I found nothing applicable to predict future trends. I mean, if I can calculate the exact possibility of getting off this waitlist, I should not be attending a college. I had to convince myself to accept the idea that the AO made his own decision whether or not I stress over it. Then I decided to give up my stress and Carpe diem. Four years of high school is hard, application process is hard, gap year is even harder. I see plenty of reasons for us to not punish ourselves with this waitlist stress by this very end of our high school career. Relax if you feel need to, and I hope you all happy by the end of June
Just got a text and email offering me acceptance for Arts&Science
Awesome vill
Congrats! Thanks for sharing with us too.
I just got off the WashU waitlist and I need help deciding between WashU & Brandeis
I’m planning to pursue a neuroscience major on the pre-med track. I value small class sizes and research opportunities.
Did those of you who got off the waitlist write a LOCI or send any additional information or updates to WashU after being waitlisted? Thanks in advance for sharing your experience and congrats for getting off the waitlist!
Bu the way, I would definitely recommend WashU over Brandeis academically, but being in Boston provides access to many top hospitals and research opportunities!
I dont think you could go wrong with either choice. Smaller class sizes are at Brandeis but you would have great research opportunities at both places. WashU would probably be more competitive in terms of the sheer number of premeds
S22 got accepted off waitlist today in Arts & Sciences! He applied ED2 and was placed directly on waitlist. Sent a LOCI concurrent with accepting spot on waitlist and sent a follow-up after putting in a deposit to secure a spot at Emory indicating that WUSTL remains his top choice should he be admitted from waitlist. He’s thrilled and plans to attend as a political science major. Congrats to all who were accepted in all rounds–and best of luck to everyone in this most unusual admissions year!
hi i just got off the waitlist today for arts & sciences! i uploaded a LOCI to my portal on 4/6
Congratulations! What part of the country are you from? Wondering if they are going through the list by AO.
i’m from the midwest
