wats the lowest SAT or ACT score anyone has gotten to get into NYU?

wats the lowest score anyone has gotten to get into NYU?

is this a serious question?

yea im curious cuz im only a sophmore in hs and i took the psat a while ago and i want to know what is the lowest score anybody has gotten, cuz i want to get into nyu and my score on the psat wasnt that high

Study. Be involved. Practice for the SAT/ACT. Don't be lazy.

thats what im doing and i am involved in many things but that still doesnt really answer my question. Has anyone gotten into NYU with a really low scroe and the SAT is what i am asking

i did.
i got in with a 26, and i know a girl that got in with a 24.

wat is that equivalent to the SAT?

anyone else?

Test scores don't really matter THAT much. They're important, and I know mine helped me, but your application has to be strong as a whole. That is GPA/rank, Essay, EC's, etc. Don't be test-crazy. I used to be, I know how it is, it isn't worth the stress!

I got in with a 1870. It is possible but becareful, don't bet on winning nationally recognized awards/being featured on national news to save your acceptance.

Realize that people who have low scores compensate for these scores with excellence in other categories, such as leadership, community volunteer service, national awards, and so forth.

You should attempt to have at least the median scores for both GPA and test scores.

stop worrying about scores man. relax, it's not the most important thing in the world.

Even though they aren't the most importatnt, I wouldn't slack on trying to improve them, they can only help after a certain point.

i got in with an 1820 and a 25

Nothing lower than a 1000

u think its possible for around a 1300 and aroumd a 3.3 GPA.Thanks everybody for the info

You need a higher GPA or test score to compensate for that low GPA.

I bet at least one person's gotten in with a 400-500ish (old scale).

wat is a 400-500 equivalent to compared to the new scale

like a 600-750 maybe?
