Wave your hands in the air if it's SUBLIME that you don't care!

I did too! Thanks for that man... makes me feel secure.

I actually really liked and enjoyed reading this passage lol I thought that the two passages about advertisements were really boring and obscure ...

yeah i had that too. i put evoke a hypothetical situation. what about that "mean" question. that threw me

ANYONE WANT TO TELL ME WHAT THE "EVOKE HYPOTHETITCAL SITUATION/SIMULATION" QUESTION WAS HUH??? lol

^ OH HECK yes. I was cursing them while I was reading them.

@mean... yeah what WAS that?

I liked that passage but i omitted the question that asked what 'mean' meant. What the heck is the answer? i think i stared at that one for 3 full minutes.
can someone say the full question for the simulate/evoke question? i wanna remember what i put.

i put average. you?

Mean - I put stingy, because nothing else fit it.

i didnt think we were allowed to post questions specifically norabelle. if we are, then i will telll you

dude, i was contemplating stingy bcause i also thought nothing else fit, but omitted it in the end. i mean, stingy? i was like what the heck?

I put stingy too because the word, I think, was supposed to have some negative connotation.. everything else was like neutral.. average, dull, common...

i thought they were going for the opposite of noble so that's why i put average. who knows though

mean i put base..b/c it is the opposite of noble

it was like
intimidating? and mean intimidating? and noble...so i just put teh opposite of noble

and it wasn't average...that doesnt make sense

same here timothy

^ Same!
It was a vocab-in-context question... What does the word 'mean' mean... (well not like that... but you know what I mean)... okay, choice:

Base.

Dull.

Average.

(Something ... definitely not the answer)

Stingy

I immediately eliminated 2, 3, and 4... (The sentence was something along the lines of... "sublime landscapes are powerful and mean, but we still admire them... blah blah'

Base didn't make any sense to me.

Edit: Okay, stingy is wrong... base is right. Stingy refers to a 'miser'... =/
Base works better.

yah but it was supposed to relate to mean so the only negative word that was there was stingy.

I put stingy!

lol @ everyones different answers. when i was contemplating that one i couldnt just pin down the answer because they all fit somehow...i was totally with average one minute, then with base the next, then stingy..then i was like screw it, OMIT!

dang.. it was base..I was not sure about its secondary meaning when I was thinking about the question.. but I looked it up now and it seems like the word would fit.. .w/e.. can't do anything about it..
stupid secondary definition..
