While waiting anxiously for my decision, i decided to plug in my XID from my application in to the username set up for the 100th time. If i recall correctly the message that usually pops up is that my application is yet to be complete but now the message that pops up is to enter my activation code from my acceptance letter.
I have yet to receive a decision from Clemson and didn’t know if this had any correlation to the decisions or if they just simply changed it but…
This sounds promising for you @Rossm2000 Sounds like how it worked for my DS who got in December. But if you don’t have it yet, don’t panic. There is still time and they may be inputting all this data/passwords in at different times. I know they do the letters in batches. So everybody don’t panic.
DD’s stats: ACT 28 GPA W: 4.14, so she’s below the merit scholarships, but is in-state. She tried her XID and got the next step screen to type in her activation code from her acceptance letter. She hasn’t received any letter yet, but I guess this could give us a clue ahead of next week’s release.
I called Admissions. Sometimes the mail with the activation code is sent out after student housing gets it so yes you may be accepted if you are finding that you are being asked to “enter your activation code”
For those of us who don’t have that lucky sentence popping up they said they are not yet done with all the acceptances and will be sending out the letters by the first part of next week.
@DDclass2018 my son has similar stats with the same message…28 ACT, 4.1 W GPA, OOS (NY). This is the last school we are waiting to hear from before he makes his final decision. Would be nice to know definitively!
Interesting! I did it with my daughters XID and was directed to enter the activation code from the acceptance letter as well. Applied to Architecture program, with stats: 1350/3.7, NHS, Spanish NHS, V. Sports, captain, etc. Gives me hope but until we get that big orange envelope…best of luck to all!
@apatel21 , do you know if they sent ALL the letters out today? Last year it looks like they posted a pic and announcement on their Admissions Twitter page the day they did it (which was a Friday). I don’t see anything at this point.
