Wellesley <3

wow…you got ur acceptance already???

they must have really wanted you! Lucky lucky! =]

Congrats!!!

^^ Congrats! So lucky! :)

Wow that’s cool. Congrats!

To kill my sibling, but I felt so bad about it afterwards that I started tearing ;(

@BEKW123 Congratulations!!! I’m guessing Wellesley is your #1, so really Congrats!

@jessh92: Wow, I can only imagine what that’s like. My alltime favorite (not that I’ve watched that many) is Secret Garden. I really fell in love with Hyun Bin! Also I thought You’re Beautiful, Coffee Prince, Shining Inheritance, and My GF is a Gumiho were really very good too, lol^^ I was born in the states, but my mom is from Trinidad/England and my dad Jamaica/Germany… I’m black though, lol

If you won a billion dollars (nontaxable) honestly how much of it would you give to charity??

^I would invest all that money, wait until it multiplies, become successful, so that I could make my own charity/donate to charity regularly. Then I might be able to donate a full billion in one go, and be able to donate as many times I want.

Just got the Wellesley email. For internationals decisions come out on the 23th. Soo soo nervousss.

Oh an someone else ask a question, I’m starting to think this game is kinda like the stuff I played on my turning 5 birthday party.

GarfieldGirl, I think all the decisions come out on the 23rd. I just logged on to the portal and saw that the likely had been changed to an official acceptance letter dated March 23rd 2011. It’s a message from the future!!! Haha :)

Best of luck to those still waiting Only one week left!

Lol.
10char.

New question:

Are you doing anything to help the disaster in Japan? If so, what?

Yes!
I’m taking Japanese in school and pretty involved in the Japanese community around here, while I’m not Japanese, myself. My friend and I are officers of the Japan club and we’re going all out with bake sales, fundraisers, donations… I’m totally touched by the amount of people that care. Our goal was $1000 but at the rate we’re going, I wouldn’t be surprised if we surpassed that greatly. Somebody donated $100 to our makeshift donation jar today.

same question : )

Are you doing anything to help the disaster in Japan? If so, what?

Wait how are you guys getting it? My page just says
“Admission Notifications
Final admission decision information will be mailed in the last two weeks of March. Please note: if you have applied for financial aid, information regarding your financial aid award will be included with your decision letter.”

whoa I just logged back on and my acceptance letter and my evaluation was gone! haha whoops maybe they accidentally put it up early?

^ That’s what mine says and I was a “possible.”

Edit: And my “Evaluation” button has been coming and going randomly… weird.

I just applied for regular decision, do they give us login id’s for the portal or is just for the early evaluation people? i dont remember ever getting a login or password.

^ Yeah, when I applied they sent an email “Your Wellesley College Application” with login info for the My Wellesley Portal (https://my.wellesley.edu/cp/home/displaylogin)

I also applied through EE and got a possible

My evaluation button was back up, and it actually gave me my decision by the Board of Admissions. I was a “likely” candidate and was officially accepted today.

It might have been a mistake for it to be up so early, because the button is gone now!

eg0441- Really? Too bad the system was glitching, but if that’s true that’s so exciting.
I need (official!) decisions out now.

funny story…

I got called in to the counseling office at school today and since my counselor is out of town there was a sub.

He sat me down all serious and tried to explain to me that Wellesley called and said the acceptance letters were put up on accident when they were testing the notification for international students

I think he expected me to be super disappointed because he didn’t understand what early evaluation was I don’t really care if I don’t have the official acceptance yet, I know it’s coming :)

So, in short, any letters posted already were not official, but I don’t think that should be any reason for likelies to worry :)
