Would be great if anyone could chance me.

Oh, all are big reaches, I definately would have a safety school if not accepted as a transfer… though then again since your transfering if not accepted you still have University of Michigan.

You know… These schools all have their own forums here. Other than to try to impress people who you don’t even know (and do a failing job of it) here, why did you post this in this forum and NOT those?

As for the topic in general, you’re smarter than this silly “chance me” crap. If you really are applying to transfer to all of those schools, you know exactly which ones you have a shot at, and how good of a shot, and have in order of preference which ones you want to attend. Beyond that you’re coming here asking people who certainly have less of an idea how much of a shot you have at these colleges (except for maybe Alexandre, who you’re probably just offending and I’m sure he doesn’t give a damn about giving you your chances), and you’re going to ignore anything anyone here says anyway.

I guess I answered my own question on why you’re asking here, you’re a successful ■■■■■. Congrats.

^
and I just found out. These are just schools I want to go to. If you havn’t noticed, most transfer deadlines are March 1st. So I dont know how you could come up with the assumption that I have already started my application process besides asking professors and my former boss if they could write my rec.

^^ I did post on the transfer student forum. I am not posting in each school’s forum because the people in those forums always get the typical “Cal State/Podunk community college looking to transfer. Please chance me.” They will probably judge my gpa using those standard. People from Michigan knows more about the context of the difficulty and the reputation of the school

^^^B.S. If you are so miserable at Michigan, just quit already. It’s beyond obnoxious how you constantly deride your chosen school and the people who attend it. I certainly have had enough. You’ve just made my ignore list. For those of you who want to join me in avoiding bearcats, just go to “My control panel” at the top of the page and follow the instructions on how to ignore members. Just like a bully, spoiled brat, or snobbish bore, If we all ignore him, he’ll go away.

I thought it was a joke too lol, but if this is actually serious is it really worth it to transfer as a junior? I mean you’re about 2 semesters away from a degree?

bearcats should focus on graduating and then apply to the above-mentioned schools for grad school. Seriously, where you attend graduate school and your field of study become more important later in life. His behavior is beyond annoying – it’s pathetic.

“Seriously, where you attend graduate school and your field of study become more important later in life.”

Really? What am I supposed to major in for grad school?
Let’s see… engineering? Nope, not interested. MBA? Can’t, no experience.
Master of Finance? The only prestigious places that offer MFin are Princeton and MIT, and getting into their MFin program is like twice as hard as getting into their undergrad program.
Phd programs are out of question since I dont have research experience and hate research in general.
So if I don’t transfer now, I would probably have to waste 5 years working before (traders dont have the defined path of 2 years -> elite MBA like bankers and strat consultants have) I have a chance to do an MBA at a prestigious brand-name school.

Now imagine this:
Dinner within extended family.
HYPSM: Half of extended family
Lower ivies, duke, caltech: The other half minus 2
The rest: 1 kid who cant cut it at Michigan and 1 idiot cousin who failed out of BU.
Imagine this being brought up EVERY TIME there’s a family union in the past 3 years.

“His behavior is beyond annoying – it’s pathetic.”
I am sorry I didn’t know considering transfer is pathetic. I forgot that there was a pledge of allegiance the moment I paid the deposit to enroll at Michigan. For that, I apologize.
See, the thing is, I thought we live in a country of freedom where we have CHOICES of what we want and can achieve better things. I guess that has changed since obama became president. Again, I apologize for my ignorance.
