@silencefell Aw that really sucks. ): Try again for next year though! Annoy your school until they finally do it. XD And it is a pretty amazing program. It takes up a TON of your time, but in the end, it’s worth it.

At school (I’m assuming that’s what you’re asking), I’m in Partner’s Club, which is a way for the kids at our school to be a friend to the special needs kids with Special Olympics. It’s a lot of fun, and a bunch of us are practicing with the kids for the Unified Team floor hockey tournament in a couple weeks. It’s pretty cool.

Next year I’m planning to join Tennis and Key Club. I do plenty of stuff outside of school so I don’t do much at school.

Basketball–long season, lots of time required, and dedication is a must, but I absolutely love the sport
Tennis in the spring
Math club
Academic bowl

I feel bad considering these don’t exactly measure up to other people’s EC’s. Who know, it may come back to bight me.

Cool…what do you do in Academic Bowl(what subjects do you compete in)?

^^^Everything. It’s a competitive random trivia EC.

There’s questions on math, social studies, science, lit, music…etc.

Are there specific people assigned to specific subjects?

In my case, I’ve done various subjects.
Freshmen: general science, individual, 2nd place (got one less wrong than a senior who is currently attending MIT–ruined my night)
Sophomore: general science, individual (again),1st; current events, team, 1st
Junior: biology, individual; current events, team–competition in March
Senior: no idea as of right now

As a school, we placed second my freshmen year & first sophomore year. Hopefully we can win again this year. All together there are subjects for nearly every interest/person, so that’s the main gist of things. Gee, that should be an adventure to try to explain.

I’m captain of the ACT club.

We call it Academic Competition in our area. There 5 are teams; English, Math, Social Studies, Science, and General Knowledge. You can be on any team plus general knowledge. So you can’t be on English and Math, for example. We really don’t have a dedicated General Knowledge team, it’s just whoever’s around and is usually good at it.

This year however, we have one guy who’s on Social Studies play general knowledge because he’s a football and baseball player who knows a lot about sports, and we always get it embarrassingly wrong when they ask sports-related questions.

All 4 years, I have been on Social Studies and often play on General Knowledge. I have served as team captain in several matches this year and last.

That seems like fun!!!

Currently I am ASB Parliamentarian in Student Gov, and plan on running for ASB President and WINNING. >:D I’m also the Student Advisory Board Secretary and plan on running for President who also acts as the Student Board Member for the school district. I am also currently the Executive Assistant for my Key Club Division which comprises of 16 schools (CNH District Represent! D44S Dinos too! Whoot! Lol), and am currently the President Elect for my school’s Key Club so I’ll be president next year. I was in Mock Trial this year as a defense attorney but the club fell apart so I wasted a lot of my time on that unfortunately. I also mentor middle school students who have a bad home life, do bad in academics, or just those bad kids. Oh and I also do National History Day as well. I made it to state last year and I hope to be a state finalist this year or even better national competitor! I played tennis freshman and sophomore year but dropped it though because I want to sleep more. Lol
