Hey I earned eagle at 15 too!
You take your sats yet? You gpa is a kinda low for berkeley and georgetown.

Wow, Boy Scouts... cough I uh... cough I was a Boy Scout, before I got kicked out due to their discriminatory policies of exclusion. And btw, how did you skip English 3? Lang/Comp is English 4 AP, so you went from 2 directly to 4... Did I miss something?

AdanBrac:

Our school's english program has three possible choices

English I>English II> English III> English IV

English I Advanced> English 2 Advanced> American Cultures> English IV Advanced

English I Advanced> English 2 Advanced> AP Langauge and Composition> AP literature and Composition.

As for the boy scouts being discrimanatory, yeah, thats why i didn't keep with it after i got my eagle scout. I didn't like a lot of their policies.

Insane: My sat's are listed above right after my Grades. Im taking the SAT II's tomorrow.

Well actually I'm going into the Coast Guard so I have nothing to say about that lol. They're even less gay-friendly, and yet that's where I'm doing... Guess I'm screwed up lol.

btw guys, dont spare me the truth. I figure that i cant get into most of the ones i have listed above, and i have other safety schools i didnt list, so be honest! :)

lol, one last thing, I live in CA, if it makes a difference for any of the schools.

AP Euro Hist Exam score 3 is low...that means you got 1/2 to 2/3 of the test wrong...not good for prospective history major to those schools...

I'm probably going to regret asking this, but how'd you get a C in orchestra?

lol, about the C in orchestra. I was reallly irritated. I had an A+ going into december. However, it turned out we had theater tickets (one of the things my family likes to do together) for the night of our winter concert. So i let my teacher know at least 2 weeks in advance. He said it was ok, so i just forgot about it. Then, the day after the concert/theater, i looked at my grade and he arbitrarily dropped me down to a C. I asked him why, and he told me it was because i'd missed the concert, even though he said it would be alright. Two faced sonofa***** he was, and thats why i quit orchestra, because i couldnt stand the man from that point on, and he couldnt stand me.

Anyway, im just hoping that they understand AP Euro was my first AP. Im almost 90% sure i got a 5 on my AP US this year, and 100% sure i got at least a 4.

Every time someone gets a C in a non-core class, there's an interesting story behind it...lol...(get everything in WRITING...the last two years, the entire senior class got truancies because they didn't get an ok in writing for "senior ditch day"...)

Use AP prep books if your class isn't enough to secure a 5 on an AP exam...but if you got a 5 on AP US (and what do you think you got on the other two?), then they may overlook AP Euro...

I know i got 4/5s on all the ones i took this year. Im pretty confident that i got a 5 in all three, guaranteed at least a 4 on all three.

this really doesn't excuse the 3, especially if you want to become a history major. I think you have sufficient ECs, but both your GPA and SAT scores are very weak. Berkeley and LA, in particular, place a larger emphasis on your academics than anything else. Berkeley, even above LA. So that will REALLY hurt your chances there. AP doesn't really matter b/c you don't really have to submit it; keep in mind the difficulty of your school, its track record with these unis...The B's in AP Euro also hurt. That UW GPA is gonna be a really big thorn in your side in apps...

Reach:
Berkeley
Claremont McKenna
Georgetown
Pomona College

Safety:
Santa Clara

yeah, i figured that way, but i have some safety schools that i'd be perfectly happy to go to.

Hopefully i'll be one of Berkeley's quirky choices, like my friend. No one thought she'd be able to get in anywhere except for a few crummy little schools, but somehow she got into berkeley with stats worse than mine and no hardships.

As for the AP Euro, its the hardest graded class in our school, approximately 1 student in every class gets an A, sadly, the difficulty is not conveyed on paper. :(

Hey guys, update, just got my ap scores back:

AP US- 5
AP Language and Composition- 5
AP Environmental Science- 5

Also, SAT II's

US History- 790
Bio -650 (ew, gonna retake that one.)

Does this help any as far as admission goes?
