Studying in Boston has aways been a dream of mine. What are my chances of getting into:

University of Massachusetts, Amherst
University of Massachusetts, Lowell
University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth
University of Massachusetts,Boston
University of Suffolk
University of Lesley
Northeastern University
Boston University

GPA 2.87
ACT COM 26
ENG 24
MAT 27
REA 25
SCI 28

I also have a fairly good college essay as well as a solid letter of recommendation from a good teacher of mine - I did well in his class, -A. In addition to that I have also carried a job for over a year on top of volunteering at my middle school and church.

*I'm also out of state. Which I realize matters, how much though?

What's the probability I get accepted into any of these schools?

I am also an out of state student studying in Boston, MA. But here’s my to cents on the matter: Northeastern is a tough school to get into, what with an influx of students applying and the same goes for Boston University. The other universities like University of MASS shouldn’t be too difficult. I personally did not apply to UMASS, but I have friends who have and gotten in, the same for University of Suffolk. I would give it a try, considering you have a few ECs.
Good Luck!

Northeastern and BU are reaches. UMass is a high match/low reach. I imagine the remaining schools should be matches.

Thanks guys I appreciate it. I realize this is almost completely off the topic of this forum, but how’s dorm life like? And how much can I expect to pay if I intend to study in Boston for 8 years? YouCantSitWithUs I thought you might be able to answer this more in depth since you reside in boston. Thanks again.
