Hello CC, this is my first time posting in a while and would just like to say hello to all of you. I know that there are multitudes of "What are my Chances" topics, but I think it's fair to say that it's worth asking before spending seventy dollars on an application. I do not mean to be a nuisance, and I would be grateful if any of you have advice to give me for applying to Princeton.

For starters, I wish to tell you all that I am currently going into my senior year of high school and my sophomore year of college. I am involved in a dual enrollment program entitled "Running Start" and am going to a community college sixty miles away from my hometown to take a full college load. I've been involved in the program since the beginning of my junior year of high school, and have taken all of my classes at the college ever since. I should be acquiring my Associates of Arts degree within weeks of earning my high school diploma.

My Stats:

Academics

GPA: 3.55 unweighted (my counselor has yet to add my spring quarter grades to my transcript),
I've projected my GPA to be 3.57 by the time those grades are added.

Rank: 10/63
I did not have the opportunity to take an AP class before I began college.

SAT Scores: 1590 Writing: 440, Reading: 570, Math: 580 (I know that these scores are horrific but I have been working with a SAT tutor and plan on getting a 2100 on my next SAT). I have yet to take any subject tests but will be taking the Literature and Math Level 2 subject test in November.

Sports:

Cross Country: 3 years (counting this year). I have been on varsity all of the years I have competed in cross country. I was team captain last year, and will be this year. I am not looking to get recruited due to my lackluster PR of 18:15.

Track: 3 years, and might be doing it again this year. I have earned 3 varsity letters in this sport, but have not been a team captain.

Extracurricular activities:

FCCLA: I joined this year, and am the vice president of my school's FCCLA club and am a concessions manager.

Matheletes: I joined this club last year but did not compete. This year I will be competing however.

I will be joining FBLA this year, and am going to be calling a Kiwanis club next week to work on starting a Key Club at my school.

I will also be joining my school's drama club this year.

I have been in National Honor Society for two years counting this year.

I attended Boy's State at the end of my junior year.

I am trying out for a lead role in a musical that my college is putting on.

Volunteer:

I volunteered as a mentor at my town's elementary school for roughly six months, but plan on mentoring again this year.

I've been volunteering at a community health center since May and will continue volunteering throughout this year. I have also been talking to my supervisor about job shadowing different departments within the hospital.

During my ninth grade year, I assisted a group in setting up and participating in a haunted house.

I was a sound technician for my school's drama club last year.

I assisted in my town's Relay for Life event which incorporated me in staying up all night as a part of my senior project.

I helped put on a talent show with my advisory group. I was the speaker who opened the show, and welcomed the acts before they came on stage.

Jobs (if this matters):

I have been working at a hardware store since the beginning of my junior year and will continue to work there throughout my senior year.

I have received a math tutoring position at my college, and will be working there throughout this year.

Do I even have a slight chance of being accepted to a school such as Princeton with my background? Any answers to this question or advice would be greatly appreciated.
