You look great - Wake does place a lot of weight on APs as well as SAT and Class Rank - just keep your nose to the grind stone and you'll do it. The essays are kind of tough but as long as you give them the time you'll do just fine!!! Good Luck!

Jake -- your SAT scores are good, if you go onto Wake's site, you can see the middle 50% of the incoming class. The accepted scores are slightly higher. Your weighted GPA will be looked at. Make sure you show passion for your activities -- this means a few activities with much time spent instead of a laundry list. Take as many challenging classes as possible (IBs, APs, etc). This is always better than making that 'A' in regular classes. Also, this is often overlooked, SHOW INTEREST! Make a visit to campus, talk with the admission counselors, and ask questions! Follow directions on the application. For the essays, if it says briefly, than make sure it's brief. Spend time on the essays because it is a reflection of your work. If you get everything in on time and do your part, you'll be fine!
