What are some good engineering schools for transfer admissions?

I am trying to transfer out of my school, I will have atleast a 3.8+ GPA and 33 credits when I am done with my first year. I live in NYC if that helps. I am applying for the spring semester.

My list so far:
1) Syracuse University
2) SUNY-Stony Brook University
3) SUNY-University at Buffalo
4) Copper Union

I need universities that do not look at high school or SAT academics for their admissions. I REALLY do not want to attend Syracuse or Stony Brook (the rest are backups), I hate their party atmosphere so much it makes me want to vomit when I hear their schools' name. I am going to school to get an education, NOT party all day and ruin my chances of getting into a good grad school. I want to commit my life to engineering and nothing more. I wanted to apply for RPI but they said I need 4 semesters for my high school or SAT not to be considered. :( RPI would have been a dream come true because it lacks a social atmosphere which pleases me. I am also trying to transfer out of those universities again so I can attempt an admissions into Carnegie Mellon, Cornell or USC Electrical Engineering's program.

So what I am looking for in a university:
1) Something that gives me a shot at Cornell, Carnegie Mellon or USC.
2) Something that doesn't have a social atmosphere AT ALL (Like a serious engineering school)
3) Something that gives a good amount of financial aid. (Not to the point of a free ride, but that would be nice too.)

Thank you for whoever can help me. :l

Most colleges do not give good FA to a transfer student. Since you are in-state for NY you should look there to keep costs down. You can find out yourself what those schools use for admission. Google the Common Data Set and look at section D. Generally if it says “Recommended for Some” for HS grades then they will need your HS grades until you’ve had two years of college under your belt. Here is Syracuse’s: https://oira.syr.edu/Reporting/CDS.htm

Syracuse’s site said if I have 30 credits+ HS and SAT academics doesn’t matter. By the end of this year I’ll have 33 credits. I REALLY don’t want to go to Syracuse… Its too much of a party school. -_- It will be hard for me since I have serve clinical depression and social anxiety. I hate the social atmosphere as well. I heard Syracuse gives good financial aid even if its through Transfer :/
