Decided to not minor in psychology, but to instead double major. What classes would you recommend I take my incoming freshman year to set myself up well for the coming years? I appreciate any answers!

Intro to Biology
Intro to Psych

Other courses that can be used to fulfill your school’s gen ed requirements.

I would talk to an adviser as every school is different

Getting your GEs out of the way for your school should be your first priority. It really depends on your major. I’m sure there’s requirements for the bio degree and psych minor, so any of the intro level classes for those majors would be your best bet. You really should have a conversation with your admissions advisor about which classes would satisfy GEs and potentially double count for your two majors (some neuroscience classes perhaps could satisfy both). Again, it really depends on the specific school you’re at, some have strict core class requirements, some have no GEs at all.
