Some places are telling me forensic science, others criminal justice, criminal investigation, etc. I want to enter this field but am unsure what to major in. Thanks!
I want to be in forensics as well. I’d say a degree in forensic science since in the field (to what I seen so far) requires knowledge from taking biology and chemistry courses but not many colleges I’ve seen so far offer it which makes it difficult, depending on one’s location in the US. Also on some random job requirements in my state, I saw at least a 4 year degree in biology, chemistry, or forensics with a biology emphasis. (Same on the FBI website)
I believe UC Irvine has a good criminal justice program, FWIW.
