What did you do to improve your writing score (MC)?

The part that I am struggling to improve on is writing (specifically the multiple choice section). While I am decent on the MC, I don't seem to improve on it. It gets really annoying because while I have seen great improvement on Math and CR, Writing seems to have stagnated.

Could someone tell me how they improved?

~Thank you,

Read Silverturtle’s grammar guide in depth and take notes. Make sure you know most of the stuff. Do a bunch of Collegeboard practice tests, review every incorrect answer in-depth.

I went from a 620 to an 800.

OK, thanks. And that was very encouraging.

^ Same as above. Prior to reading Silverturtle’s guide thoroughly, I was scoring in the 600 range on practice WR exams (Given an 8 essay). After it, I was scoring well into the 700’s range, and I ended up with a 750 on the exam. Silverturtle’s grammar guide, use it, it pretty much covers every single grammatical error that you’ll run into on the exam.

It also helps if your native language is English, since your ear can sometimes point you in the right direction. Otherwise, you’ll have to memorize a lot of idioms.

OK. Thanks as well, and yes, English is my native language so I still have hope :)
