lol I resent those posters.

Probably because you have no style!

I could never understand why the engineers didn't try to have more fun with Dragon Day. I mean there are 3000 of you and 400 of them. You could build a huge robot in the Engineering Quad or something.

Or build actually awesome stuff....

today was hilarious. a whole bunch of aap kids dressed up like stereotypical nerds and paraded through olin and uris library promoting dragon day

You could wear a sweater and sweat pants all year round to show just how comfortable and casual you are. Then wear Ralph Lauren one day and it'll totally throw off your professors.

By the way, do you guys have preferred clothing that you set aside to wear for exams? I know I do - my most comfortable T-shirt, my stretchiest boxers, and my most absorbent sweat pants to absorb the sweat incurred during the exam.

Wow... TMI^^^

"I could never understand why the engineers didn't try to have more fun with Dragon Day."

No offense, but from what I've heard, dragon day is a day to help show that architects work harder than engineers. Why would engineers work hard just be told that they don't work as hard as others or to lose an artificial fight?

I don't understand Dragon Day, but it's one of those things that didn't appeal to me when it was explained to me.

I don't know, maybe I was misinformed about that.

What doesn't appeal to me is that one gigantic lady working the registers at Trillium's b-fast. shudders

Now that I have the basis for a comparison....Dragon Day is like Mardi Gras on valium

lmao then I can't wait.

When i get into my dream school (upenn) i will be wearing my Armani (or versace) suits.Everything else is below my class !

Haha so my Cornell AAP friend posted some pics on Facebook and at first I was like, "Wait, why do all these kids look like total nerds?! Is that what his Cornell friends are like?" i mean, they were wearing like faded too-short jeans and taped harry potter glasses lol...and then I realized it was a joke, some Architecture dragon day thing lol.

"Bling, under the Cornell sweatshirt, layered over the toga.
Leggings, preferably fleece, go under the toga.
Absolutely with Uggs."
haha. love it. I think fleece leggings would be considered too-tight sweatpants, so I'm hoping everyone at Cornell has awesome bodies to pull off tight pants...

ummmm....no.

I saw some pretty disturbing things. However it was not as disturbing as the body parts I've seen hanging out down here in New Orleans. Come on ladies...once you start hitting the 300 pound mark...spaghetti strap tops and shorts just don't work.

I have mixed feelings about the girls in tights I've seen at Cornell.

Some of them look absolutely fantastic.

I feel like a creep - (but normally I don't see every curve of someone's legs and bottom when I'm outside.)

Seriously fantastic.

There's no way to wear those things that doesn't make you like slightly ho-ish.

I disagree with #4...tight's can actually look kind of preppy/conservative when worn under certain kinds of skirts or dresses. what I hate though is the people who think leggings are fine by themselves (worn as pants rather than under a dress/skirt/tunic/big baggy sweatshirt or whatever).

I disagree with num 4 too.
it's only your thinking that make you see things in that way.

I wish I can show you, when i wear tights it's def not ho-ish no way.

and me too! i don't understand ppl wearing leggings just by themselves..it's too revealing for me
I have to wear something that at least cover my bottom

send pictures?? :D omg just kidding! I'm not like that. lol
I like number 1, but number 3 is my favorite.

i think uggs are ugly! but i'm going to have buy some serious snow boots :/

If I get in, there had better be a hella ton of sweatshirt/jeans people.

Not me^^

I'm leaning more towards the other side. More jeans/slacks people.

I don't like that whole, "I just got out bed and put on w/e clothes."

I usually dress:
a) a dress shirt and long sleeve sweater-vest with slacks or jeans
b) a jacket with a dress shirt under.

I'm the typical New York yuppie, except I avoid Starbucks lol.

I may stand out among the engineering kids.

@ Lillies and Fav:

Well. I haven't seen you guys then. Every girl I've seen wearing tights is always rocking the "Check it out, you can see everything going on down there" look.
( I didn't mean to call you out as hoes! lol. )

I wear clothes that I like. Some days I look like Mr. Rogers' Puritan grandfather, other days....who knows? I make an effort never to look silly though. I also don't like it when people look as though they just rolled out of bed.
