What font do you use when typing essays?

I normally use Times Roman, other times I may use Georgia (just hate the numbers).

times new roman now, used to use verdana before

Used to use Times New Roman, now alternate between Calibri and TNR.

My English teacher is legally blind so she makes us use Comic Sans, which totally hurts my eyes when I type 1000 words in one sitting.

^^^Type it in times new roman, check it, revise it, then switch it to Comic Sans.

Used to use TNR, now much prefer Calibri.

I use size 12 Times New Roman. Most of my teachers usually specify it in their syllabus, and I can't say I dislike it. Although I do like size 10 Verdana and Arial but not for essays. =]

the teachers at my school prefer 12 times new roman but i like calibri

essays I use TNR.. but Arial looks good on research papers

georgia, always.

I always use Times New Roman. It's pretty much a requirement for all my essays, no matter what subject.

I usually use Times but Book Antigua (similar to Palatino) is also nice.

arial 12 font double spaced 99% of the time

Wingdings, BABY.

i bet someone actually bothered to learn to read wingdings... hm... that sounds like a good idea...

times new roman. i ddin't know we were allowed to use others lol

I used to use times new roman, but my practically-blind English teacher once said arial 12 was easier for her to read, so I've used it ever since.

I HATE TIMES NEW ROMAN
!@#$
sorry, i feel strongly about this
idk why it bothers me so much
but I can't stand it

if a teacher requires TNR, I have to write it in something else first and then change it right before i print it.

last year I used Georgia. This year I'm lovin Sylfaen.

Times New Roman.

I used to really hate it, but my teachers tend to require either than or Courier, and I'll take virtually any serif over any sans-serif. Any day. Good old TNR has definitely grown on me though.

I feel oddly ashamed of liking TNR, since it's so cliche and I'm a bit of a typography geek.

Times New Roman 12

I wish we could use courier new (aka the biggest font in word)
