Just wondering if its even worth it for parents to come? Cuz it costs $35/parent and my parents don't even know what they'd be doing over there, so I'm kinda confused if it's important they come or not?

And about students, other than meeting other transfers, what do we do? I know we probably meet some of the staff and faculty and stuff but is that all? Is there another tour of LMU? Any important info they give us that we can't find anywhere else? Any events to go to?

Any info would be great, thanks.

^ ALOOOT. I went on the transfer website, and there’s SO much stuff to do. Our orientation coincides with the Welcome Weekend, so there will be tons to do. I’m a little overwhelmed actually, haha.

Click the Transfer Orientation Schedule and Welcome Weekend links (PDF’s) for info.

But at $35/parent and $400+ plane tickets (East Coast here), my parents were going to come with me to LMU, but it’s just not possible anymore. I doubt they’d cover anything in parent’s orientation they wouldn’t tell us, so IMO it’d be a waste. As in, you could basically tell your parents what’s going on for free.

Hope that helps!
