What is considered an "average" SAT score?

<p>Just out of curiosity what is an "average" SAT score anymore? </p>

<p>I took it for my first time in the Spring and got a 1430 without any preparation of any kind. Is this good, considering what I said? Is it near average?</p>

<p>The average SAT score among those who self-report as college-bound seniors is about 1510. The average SAT score among those who actually go on to attend college is, presumably, higher.</p>

<p>1430 is in the 41st percentile.</p>

<p>here on CC, its probably 2100-2200. On the national level its around a 1500</p>
