Well I am quite sick of all the complaining threads, so I wanted to start an optimistic Emory thread.
So what does everyone plan on doing in Atlanta next year, if your going? Also, what are you majoring in?

-Going to Highlands, Little Five Points, Buckhead, traveling downtown to the MLK exhibits, Olympic Park, catching Braves games or other sporting events, aquarium, etc

I am going into Biomedical Engineering (3+2 w/ Georgia Tech) or I am going to dive into business if I decide otherwise.

Eat out at the Varsity
Go to the Annual Celtic Christmas Music program at Emory
Go to the Center for Puppetry Arts and take in an performance (kid or adult)
Catch a concert at Chastain Park
A performance at the Fox Theater is a definate must do!
Taste of Atlanta in Oct is a fun food event
Go visit the museum at the State Capitol Building
(it’s next to the Aquarium and the World of Coca-Cola)
And you have to go see Stone Mountain…

Oh yeah, don’t forget the San Carlos Museum right there on Emory’s campus. It is wonderful anytime and they often have special temporary exhibits, such as when they had Ramses there.

You’ll have a blast around Atlanta. So much to see and do. And lots of places offer student discounts on admission if you show your ID. ;)

Watching the women’s volleyball team Play – (2008) NCAA D III Champions; watching the men’s and women’s swim teams compete – 2009 NCAA D III 2nd place finishers;
