I'm in the 8th grade, so what score do you guys THINK I should get? I mean like what score would you expect from a kid my age?

And I have another question- do colleges see your score from 9th grade onwards? Or do you get to choose which scores to send them?

Just take a practice test in the blue book, or another test prep book, and see what you get, I'm in 9th rite now. I took it in 4th grade for John's Hopkins, and I got an 1150/1600, that was a while ago, and the test has changed alot, but just try your best.

1500s if it's your first test.

I have no idea how capable you are, but I'd just take practice tests from the SAT registration booklet.

You got an 1150 in fourth grade??
And yes, this is my first time taking it.

2400... maybe you are a genius because you just asked a ingenious question.

Why are you taking SATs in 8th grade? There is no point unless it's for a program or something, so just take practice tests (use the CB blue book) for now.

Yes sinhais I got an 1150 /1600 in fouth grade. Do you think tht's good or bad??

thats super good man...you can get into a decent state college with that (as a 4th grader)

i expect a 2350+ if not a 2400 when your a junior

If you get a 1300/1950 in 8th grade, then you're a genius.

Thanks, ihateCA what do you mean by 1300/1950?? I'm hoping for a 2250+ when I'm a junior.

sinhais, i took the old sat in 7th grade and got a 1160 out of 1800. 1150 in 4th grade? that's crazy good.

1300 M+v/1950 M+v+w

Bahaha, I got 2000 and I'm in 8th grade.

You're SAT score by junior year should be incredible.

SPINACH! i didnt know you got 2000!!!!! 0-0

HOW do you do it???

Haha honestly, I don't know. I didn't even practice very much this time with the prep school applications. I'd say I was lucky.

oh. i'm not really good at being lucky :(

SAT scores mean nothing about intelligence and do NOT predict your college success--numerous studies have shown this.

If you prep well enough, almost any idiot can get a high score--including myself :).
