hey guys, i would like to take your opinions on my chances at the aformentioned schools

THE "STATS" (is that the proper term for them?)

TEST SCORES

SAT
cr:800
math:790
writing:790
essay:9

math 2:800
chemistry:800
world history:790

ACT: 35
essay: 9

THE COURSE-WORK

i've taken all honors classes that R regularly offered for folks, and i've taken 3 ap classes junior year, which is the first year you can take aps at my school, and i will take 5 ap classes next year

I AL5O VOLUTEERED AT HEAD START LAST YEAR FOR ABOUT 25 HOURS AND THIS SUMMER I AM GETTING 300 HOURS OF LAB WORK DONE WHERE I WORK IN A UNIVERSITY RESEARCH LAB RUNNING ONE OF MY OWN AND ASSISTING WITH OTHERS' EXPERIMENTsS

HOWEVA, I AM AN ASIAN DUDE SO THAT CANNOT HELP ME, THAT IS, THE ASIAN FACTOR, ALAS, alas

pathetic. 2380 on sat??? you need to retake it again.

i wouldn't consider penn, washu, or yale to be any kind of safety or match at all. several reasons:
1. 32598376897 other people have the exact same credentials as you
2. 348237698327639276897 asian people are exactly like you
3. even though you have a strong resume, selection process is always a little janky with the reallysmartbutnotnobelprizewinner students, especially with colleges that accept less than 23.5% of their applicants.

i'd say, good chance for the ivies that were aformentioned (but definitely not safety w/ penn yale), better chance in washu, and pretty much guaranteed at nyu (unless you beat up the dean or something),

"you need to retake it again."
uh, well i've only taken it once, so it would not be an again yet!
(btw, i think sully made his comments a bit tongue-in-cheek)

lol i was just playing man.
and i exaggerated. there arent 32598376897 people with the same credentials as you. but yoiu know what i mean. there are alot of people who have strong scores in everything, strong grades, strong ECs- definitely more people than those colleges will accept. so theres no real guarantee (which is considered to be "match colleges") that you can make it in, although you do have a very very good chance.

Umm... I don't know if yal were joking i'm probably missing out on something... But this guy could have only done 20 points better on his SAT. His SAT IIs are almost perfect. I definitely wouldn't worry about ur standardized testing karkaputto. Worry about ur personal essays and making urself an interesting character.

Something's wrong here--you can't get a 790 writing score on the SAT I and only have a 9 on the essay (essays are graded from 1 to 6 and there are two graders--and to get a 790 you had to have a minimum of a 12 on the essay)

i hope your waitlist comment is based on that wash u likes waitlisting applicants it thinks is applying to ivy league schools, which is not very nice of the school i must say

i dunno, but i am visiting so i guess i will find out!

well, being public, michigan is probably easier, especially for a numbers-strong fellow such as yourself

I think you can get into all those schools except yale and penn with a pretty high degree of certainty, and those two ain't out of the question at all.
