Is it possible to get accepted to Midd with a few sub 700 scores on the SATI and scores above 700 on the SATII? Say a 620 Math, 670 Verbal and 710 Writing?

The middle 50% range for middlebury is 1920-2190. This means the 25th percentile at middlebury is a 1920, while the 75th percentile is a 2190. So if you have a 1920, 3 out of four kids have a higher SAT, and if you have a 2190, 3 out of 4 have a lower score thany you. A 620 Math, 670 V, and 710 Writing = 2000. You would still be a little on the low side, so I would say that with a 2000 you would need to have a few other things going for you. But you have a shot, definitely.

For standardized testing, you can submit the SAT I; the ACT; or a combination of three exams from SAT IIs, AP exams, and IB exams.

So if you got an undesirable score on the SAT I (not that yours necessarily is), you can submit some of your better SAT IIs.

Keep in mind, however, that the reported scores of 1920-2190 are for ALL students, regardless of whether the scores were used in admissions. So this number includes someone who scored poorly on the SAT 1 (and so didn't submit it for evaluation), but got 5's on 3 AP exams (and used those scores for admission). If your SAT 1 scores are in the low-to-middle 600s, I wouldn't submit them for evaluation.
