<p>I haven't applied yet because I've been taking forever to write my essay, with my mediocre stats... so I'm starting to worry. I plan to apply summer term...</p>

<p>Will have taken 6 AP and 6 honor courses by graduation. Class rank 10/251. 20 ACT, but I'm still waiting on my October scores, and already registered for the December ACT. When is it too late to apply?</p>
<p>Extracurricular- VP of Best Buddies Junior year and a member of Big Brother Big Sister, and President of Best Buddies senior year, but had to quit two weeks ago due to personal problems. 102 volunteer hours. Still working on my essay Dx</p>
<p>It is getting harder by the minute; probably over 20,000 have already applied to UCF–you are not even at the end of the line because you haven’t even applied yet. You need to motivate yourself to get your app submitted, along with the essays, in the next couple of days. If you are off school Wednesday for Veteran’s Day, that would be a perfect time and deadline to get your essays done and application submitted. Don’t wait for any test results to get your app. in. If you can’t get yourself motivated enough to git-r-dun by Wed. p.m., you need to recognize that your chances for getting into UCF are probably done. Get busy and get going, don’t even bother wasting your time coming on this CC blog until after you get this stuff done. Too, as backup schools, send some apps to some of the other Florida universities that don’t require essays–after you complete the UCF app and essays. </p>
<p>If you still haven’t gotten your app completed by Wed. night, go see your guidance counselor Thurs morning first thing and tell her you are at a stall; the counselor will will lay the hard facts out for you. </p>

<p>That was a hard hit in the face, and a reality check. After reading your post, I went straight to finishing up my essay, and I am done. Need to get it revised a second time, but will have the application sent in by Wednesday night. Thanks for the scare. I needed it.</p>
<p>And I’m also applying to FSU, UNF, and maybe USF. I don’t know if it’s a realistic thing to think of, but I’m holding onto the mentality that UNF is my backup plan, when it may just be a match school for me.</p>
<p>Alright! It’s easier to procrastinate, but you have to get this stuff done for UCF now. Don’t drop the ball, get everything into UCF like you said you’d do. You never know, UCF, or any college could change policy any time or cut back on number of freshmen being admitted at anytime–it’s better to be safe and get the app in now.</p>
<p>I don’t know if you sent apps to the other colleges yet, but UNF has a deadline of this Fri., 11-13-09, to receive app for December decision. (UNF admission info is attached in link below.) FSU deadline for December decision has already passed. USF you should send in app after completing UNF app. If you do all of them on facts.org it is pretty easy to do all the colleges without a lot of extra effort. Don’t wait until the last minute. <p>Way to go! You needed to get the UCF stuff done. Hate to bring this up, but you better take ACT and/or SAT tests again trying to bump up score. Too, did you get other apps out? Make sure the UNF app is in by tomorrow if you want to make deadline for December decision. Are you in school today, you need to keep up your grades also.</p>
<p>Yes, I just retook the ACT last month and bumped it up 2 points. Disappointing, but hey, better than a 20! And didn’t study both times. I also signed up for the December ACT, and plan on actually studying the PR 1296 this time! =D</p>

<p>torioreo, do you mind posting your stats? I was admitted for summer 2010 but decided to re-apply for fall 2010 and have been deferred since December. I’ve called the admissions office and was told that it could take weeks/months before a decision up until July.</p>
