I have a question regarding Pell Grants. If I drop a 4 unit class and I’m left with 3 classes totalling 8 units, what percentage of the Pell Grant would I be eligible to receive? 75%? 50%? Currently, with 12 units I am eligible to receive a 100% Pell Grant. Thank you.
8 credits pays one-half the semester amount.

I’m not past the drop/add period yet. I was hoping I could get 75% with 8 units. I still have the option to drop a 3 unit class instead of a 4 unit class, and get 75% with a total of 9 units, right? Thank you so much for your advice.
9 will get you 75%.
Yes. You will receive Pell for more than 12 semesters if you receive partial Pell for fewer than 12 credits in one or more semesters.
Am I able to receive pell grants for longer than 12 semesters if my Pell Lifetime Eligibility Used is less than 600%? For example, if I am enrolled half-time and I take longer than 12 semesters to finish school.
