I'm leaning strongly towards Cornell at this point, but my only issue is that it's in the middle of nowhere. Still, when I visited, the guides pointed out that regardless of this, many famous people often come and give speeches or have presentations at the university, because after all, it is Cornell. But the only specific example people would give me was that Jon Stewart came up a few years back, and if that's all that's going on it makes be a bit uneasy about leaving civilization, and makes me wonder if I might not be better off in Georgia Tech.

So I guess my question is, what sort of visitors has the school had recently?

Shimon Perez, Bill Nye, Sri Sri Ravishankar and many more people who are important social and political forces. Thats one of th advantages of being in an Ivy league school. There's some important person giving a talk almost every week or so.

hahah…I LOVE Bill Nye!!! when I first came to the US, Bill Nye was practically the only thing I watched…it taught me sooo much tear lol haha…but seriously, that guy is awesome…and the fact that he graduated from Cornell makes him even cooler ;)
