What to take?

I really blew it by failing to take any of the real science APs and choosing APES... As required, I have a year of bio and chem down (both the most advanced courses offered at the time). Bio wasn't great and by the end of it, I hated the class, the material, and my teacher. Chem was better as I at least somewhat enjoyed the material and just did better. Chem was also more recent.

Question: how feasible would it be for me to self-study for either Bio or Chem and get a 700 high? I'm planning on taking Physics senior year, so could I wait for that and take the Physics one first semester (seems awful, but if I have no other options...).

And if both those ideas are bad, would it be alright for me to not have a science SAT if I plan on doing programming/engineering?

If you start studying now and go through a Princeton Review or Barron’s review book, it should not be too hard to do well. (Are you aiming for 700 or high 700s?) Most top engineering schools do require math and science subject tests.

@jamanda Probably mid-high 700s. I thought that was the case…better start cramming, I guess. Thanks.

I thought engineering preferred the SAT Physics Test.
