will you be my friend if you go next year?

well i'm a junior now so i'd be going the year after next. Are you going to be a huntsman student?

Just curious, what is your ethnicity?

I guess caucasian but 5 of my 8 great-grandparents were from syria so i guess i could play myself off as middle eastern why? Do you think i have a chance?

Holy crap, you're not asian and fluent in Chinese. That is AMAZING, Chinese is so difficult. I think you have far and away the most unique and impressive resume I have ever seen, but then again, I don't work in admissions. Best of luck to you on admissions, because they are a crapshot. If you get rejected from some schools, please do not think less of yourself. I'm already impressed with you haha.

Yeah and PLAY YOURSELF OFF AS MIDDLE EASTERN. Keep us updated. I want to know where you apply and where you are eventually accepted.

Also, invest that 20k. You baller.

Wo ye hui shuo Zhongwen! Nihao, I suppose

Just don't be "one of those" huntsman students.

Wow thanks you guys. Where're you guys all applying to?

By the way. Does anyone know if huntsman sees a difference between people applying for their first language or any other one?

I would think that being a dude who learned Chinese as a second language, and learned it so well, would make you quite unique.

Yeah, I think you have a great chance with Chinese as your target language. If you complete your summer job, that will be amazing!

I don't believe they do. However, you might as well subtly mention that in your essays. You know, something about how learning chinese was hard/rewarding/whatever for ya.

Thanks for all the support guys. Where're you all applying to?

Haha.. I'm not applying anywhere. I'm attending Penn this fall :)

yeah, going to wharton next fall

One of the strongest resumes I have seen yet.

I am doing Wharton ED this coming fall.

how in the world did you get a summer job like that? probably the most unique summer job experience ive read on here
