I know it's a little late to get it there by December 15 now, but I'm wondering if it really matters?

Do people who get it in earlier have better chances? Does Harvard separate apps turned in before Dec 15 and after? Thanks

No. They don't. They do this so that they have time to sort the mail instead of having a rush of mail at the end.

how annoyed would they get if you, lets say, submitted ur app like on December 30th (im submitting online)?

Nothing really. It doesn't matter. Admissions officers don't file, other people do.

yaay! thanx xjayz, thats great news. ive got more than 2 weeks now!

Yep, they hire students to sort of the stuff. One of my sister's friends works in admissions. They file by year of graduation and name. Each applicant has his or her own box (cabinet?), stretching all the way to like graduating class 2015, where all your paperwork and anything else you send goes. She says that people send in stuff like, "Hi, I'm in eighth grade, and this is my practice essay for when I apply to Harvard!" Interesting note: they print out all your online forms and file them.

wait, are you saying they file all the correspondence you've had with harvard via email? i thought they dont consider that in the admission process!

No I mean like if you filled out your application online. Paperwork, not correspondence.
