I'm a BJU student...and I laughed out loud to see that we were listed first as the worst university in the nation...a good-natured laugh. Wow. It's so interesting to read all the opinions...we are a little crazy, but I guess that's what the world's about...a lot of different people learning from each other.
Oh, and to the guy who said Hell sounded like a great party, well, you'll probably find out, bro...just wait a while.

"I'm a BJU student"

Im sorry for you..

Could BJU and PCC be labeled as the "worst" college or university because they are Christian by nature? Funny that many of the people who quoted them as "worst" are agnostic and ridicule the nature of God.

I would never attend these schools because of their lack of accredidation; however, labeling them as the worst is somewhat ambiguous. I reckon there are some CC's and small colleges which are much, MUCH worse than these said schools. What about online schools or trade schools?

I think that BJU and PCC are the worst because their rules are pretty ridiculous. How is a student supposed to thrive in a strict environment like those?

They are ridiculous because they are strictly guided by faith. Philosophically, they are exact same things as madrasahs, only that PCC or BJU doesn't encourage their brainwashed sheep...umm..students, to go blow themselves up.

Has anyone checked out Paul Quinn's SAT Scores?

Has anyone checked out Paul Quinn's SAT Scores?

wow! and they only admit 7%!?

SAT Reasoning Verbal: 210 - 420 41%
SAT Reasoning Math: 220 - 440 41%
ACT Composite: 8 - 17 36%

There is an urban legend of some sorts that claims that you get a 200 on each SAT section by simply writing your name!

Its not a legend actually.. If you check the sat grading scheme, the minimum mark you can get is 200 on each section.. no matter how many questions you get wrong..

Makes getting into paul quinn easier..

Well, since you lose points for wrong answers on the SAT, it would only make sense that you start off with a certain amount of points so you couldn't go below zero. Of course, even if you guessed on every question, it would take an extraordinary amount of bad luck to get the lowest possible score. However, the always charitable College Board doesn't report scores lower than 200. That is, if you answer every question wrong, it's reported as a 200, but I think you could even answer a few things right and get a 200.

That would be the Electoral College that selected our idiot president after he lost the election.

The electoral college is not the only group responsible for electing our "idiot" president. 50% of the voters were "idiotic" as you say.
Clearly majority won, fair and square. (although the first time, Gore deserved it)

That said, I agree with you. Whatever colleges those 50% came from are stupid (In my humble opinion :) )

Need a box of recycled environment friendly tissues, my friends?

BJU is more of a cult than a University IMO

I don't know if anyone said this already....but Pensacola Christian without a doubt. It makes Bob Jones look liberal.

Wow Paul Quinn is crazy...the 210-420, 220-440, 8-17 range is the MIDDLE 50%! So there are people with 200's on each SAT section that get in!

BJu and PCC

Liberty University = close

Why is PCC condemned? I know that the average old SAT score at PCC is 1200 which is quite good actually. For someone wanting to receive a Christian education, I believe that these schools would be good.

I would say Pensacola Christian College.
And and CSU. CSU is to UC as Florida State is to University of Florida. :D
