that's strange, because most schools I hear of inform internationals by e-mail.

j07...here is a picture of the old acceptance letter, under Dean Hargadon.

ROFL wow seriously?
That's kinda cool because the first two sentences are usually fluff like the applicant pool was really competitive this year blah blah blah.
But that's like straight to the point.

Yea it is cool. Especially if you aren't expecting it, because when you normally see a small envelope you think rejection.

so does anyone know when they are sent out? the 15th being a friday sucks balls.

There was another thread about this and I think they agreed on Dec 13th-14th or something like that.

So when they say December 15, they're trying to say we'll most likely know by December 15th, right? Not that they'll send them out on the 15th?

I thought they stopped using the YES letter.

oh no that letter makes me nervous

NO! we regret to deny you admission to P'ton University... the horror

haha like a slap on the face =)

any idea how the new acceptance/deferral/rejectection letter reads?

and also- when do they call intls about the decision?

spacepirate, how did you learn that they'll call intls? i remember a friend told me princeton mails intl acceptance letters via fedex... well, at least i hope so. but then if i wait and wait and receive nothing, i'll know...

i dunno... ppl on this forum said pton would call intls, so i assumed it to be correct.

cc = bible of college admissions process

Hey Guys I've sent an email to Princeton asking when's the earliest date we can check our decision by phone,, and they told me to call Pton at about mid-December, so I guess somewhere between 12th - 15th of Dec we can call and check our decision (especially for intls lyk me who has to wait lyk 10 days to receive intl mail unless its fedex or something..)

thanks, cianlee! did they say whether we can get the decisions via e-mail?

cianlee, we need the exact day + time!! call again

lol somebody please call/email/otherformofcontact them and ask for the exact time. that's what the cornell and columbia kids did.

haha i can't believe we are too afraid to call and ask for a date/time... right, it may influence our decision

Yeah someone call for all of us EDers.
Columbia found out that they get theirs on the 7th

OK OK I'll do it if no one does it by tomorrow afternoon :)
