It seems that people know that they're in state or OOS when chancing...
I haven't received my letter of residency yet :/.
Does that mean that the school I'm applying to won't know either? And then I would be an OOS applicant?</p>

<p>You likely should have received notification by now from the Registrar’s office – usually 8 - 14 weeks, in the mail. Contact them and inquire about status. Check wolverine first and see what it lists you as.</p>
<p>It is true that you may be viewed presently as OOS unless the category has been changed. Soonest is best when dealing with residency matters, so please contact them and ask what you need to do to facilitate completion. They may require more evidence.</p>

<p>I called the office and they said they just saw my name in a letter a few hours ago, and it’s being mailed just today. The lady also said that the letter asks for a few documents to be mailed, and what that usually means I’m going to be in state!</p>
<p>… As long as I send in the documents, of course! Then the final letter will come a week after they’ve received those documents that I will send out :P</p>
