I have heard that. I actually have met people that graduated from Harvard/Yale and they said they would never attend those schools again and wished they had never went there. I wonder what makes Hardvard/Yale so "stuffy" from what I've been told.

Being #1 on a lot of lists, and thus intimidating, so only rich and/or upper middle class people who want to do nothing but study and hobnob with others of their kind go there, again making their endowment grow, their rankings higher, if such a thing were possible.

This is why I am vhemently against Penn moving up the rankings even if the school does improve. being #5, IMHO, attracts more well rounded people than being #1

It don't matter it don't matter

Good points, muppet. I am a real estate agent and I have some clients who are big I-bankers, and they actually told me going to Penn makes someone appear even more sophisticated. They said the reason for this is because everybody knows of Harvard/Yale, but if you go to Penn, people "in-the-know" actually know that you know how good Penn is, and it's not just based on a name such as HYP...does that make any sense? I hope I explained it properly.

The rankings have already been "leaked" out, as it seems. The top is essentially the same for both lists this year compared to last year's, exept MIT dropped.

Leaked? Eh that's sketch.
