When'd you get your license?

<p>I got mine the summer before senior year in hs.. so I was 17. But, I knew many people in college that DIDN'T have one - I was shocked. My roomate finally got hers this past summer - summer before HER senior year in COLLEGE. geesh</p>

<p>I have ADD and have trouble oh look a penny concentrating. My mom promised me $1000 towards a car if i would wait till I was 18 WITHOUT INCESSANT COMPLAINING to get my license and get a car. It was torture.....but smart.Looing back ....I never would have been a good driver a 16. hang in there.....</p>

<p>I got mine the day I turned 16, right after school ended and the start of summer. A month later, we took a road trip from Houston to Colorado and my dad made me drive all the way, pretty fun!! :)</p>

Driving here is far too expensive (6-7 euro a gallon for petrol, 3000 euro a year to insure a car... ouch!) and I've just been kinda lazy about it.</li>
