Where can i get into with a 3.3 weighted high school GPA ?

Hi, just wondering where I can get into for computer engineering or electrical engineering, with an ACT score of 27. Specifically wondering whether i’d be accepted into Kansas State University, or University of Kansas. Thanks!

Look at the threads for 3.0 - 3.4 students. There is one for 2017, of which I am a part on behalf of my 3.4, 27 ACT son, and one for the class of 2018.

As for the schools you are interested in, google “common data set” and the school’s name and/or look at the school’s stats on its web site.

Good luck.

What’s the unweighted GPA?
For Computer Engineering, probably not, although you should apply.
Engineering is really hard and is very competitive to get into, so consider these reaches.
Whichita State has Engineering so include it.
Run the NPC for the PKI Engineering programs in Omaha (University Nebraska), Mizzou, South Dakota School of Mines, University of Oklahoma, Iowa State, UIowa, Ball State, St Louis University, Augsburg, Central College, IUPUI.

I believe you could get into Kansas State. They have a high acceptance rate and feel most students should be given a chance. They are a good school and if you can handle the work it is a great opportunity.
