where do you work?

Where do you work? Is it a kool place to work? Cause, I mean I got hired at various places, but I don't know.. I didn't like any of them.

Movie theatres. Its pretty chill, I like it.

What about Barnaes and Nobles? Do they allow 16 year olds to work on weekends?

I work at a mom and pop plumbing company. I love it, no sitting at a desk all day and I get to do what I love best- playing in dirt.

Be lucky that you got hired. NOBODY around here is getting hired for ANYTHING. Where are you from that the economy is good if you don't mind me asking?

restaurant, awesome job, definitely hard work with long hours, but awesome people and really good pay

that and being self-employed owns

^^ It's not as good as you think it is. No job security for the most part.

country club

couldn't think of having a better high school job

The Library - easy but boring

collegehopeful,
i work at barnes and noble and yes they hire 16 yr olds. however, where i work they prefer people with open availability so its rare.

dunkin donuts. well, soon to work there. lookin forward to it :D but next year i'm gonna be lifeguard certified and i'll get a job at college as a lifeguard. pays well.

My D works for a few hours each weekday at a child psychiatrist's office. The pay is great and she can do homework between phone calls. Also, it's really interesting.

My local public library. Apart from the sometimes annoying patrons, I like it.

McDonalds, and it sucks

haha do you want fries with that

a small local dance store...i've shopped there forever and i literally just went and asked if they needed summer help last year. can be absolutely crazy at times, but it's never boring!

I don't think you said what you meant...I'm not about to fire myself...
harder to make money consistently? yes, but it's more fun and besides that's what my other job is for

Lol. Sorry I was typing fast and not really paying attention. Yeah it's harder to get work and harder to stay afloat and in business. Like if you're at a company then you always get paid X number of dollars an hour no matter how much work there is. But if you're self-employed then you only make money when you can actually work, if that makes sense.

Law firm, it is prety damn good. Ultra-flexible hours, like I could come in 5 days one week then not come for a month, they don't really give a rat's ass. Anything I don't do just goes to the paralegals, but when I am there I get swamped. But even so, it's really relaxed there, since its a small firm.

I work in a restaurant. since I'm a hostess it's pretty easy. it isn't a great job, and I don't like the restaurant but it's pretty easy, I like the people I work with and I get the schedule I want.
