Cold War/Eisenhower Era this week. I think 2 more chapters till we’re done with American Pageant, cos he’s not gonna do anything after the 80s. Then 2 weeks review. We had no teacher for everything from Sacagawea up to the Reconstruction so F our lives XD

we’re starting the cold war

I just started the Cold War as well.

I think I’m the only one who has a fast teacher. >.< She’s crazy. We are on our last chapter right now, the test for “American People Face a New Century” being tomorrow. We just started reviewing the Colonial Period. April is going to be one hell of a review month!

We’re finishing up WWII, my teacher’s been out a lot, but it sounds like we’re not too far behind everyone else.

We’ve gotten all of our domestic affairs taken care of up to Nixon, and when we get back from spring break on Monday we’ll be taking a week to finish up the century. Then my teacher is only doing one more week to go over all foreign affairs during the 1900s -.- We’re going to end up doing WWI and WWI in one day.

BTW, I despise my teacher.

After that it’s all review, but Mr. is TICKED because half his AP class is in a performance group, and we’ll be in New York the last week of April. And I totally understand where he’s coming from with that, HOWEVER it’s not really a fantastic reason to bomb the performers grades with super hard tests and essays that the rest of the class doesn’t have to take. Gah.

Currently finished with 1950s, seems like were moving really fast but we’ve barely had any DBQ practice

Wow, I thought we were slow. We’re doing New Deal right now. The other class is almost done with everything. They just finished the Cold War.

We’re going to be beginning Chapter 37 tomorrow in the American Pageant, The Eisenhower Era.

Just about finishing the New Deal and going into WWII.

We’re teaching ourselves the Cold War and the Eisenhower era over spring break.

We are currently done AP US. We are reviewing for the next month. I don’t understand why it was necessary to move so, so fast.

I’m on spring break right now and we were assigned to do the last two chapters of our textbook, covering Reagan and “the age of globalization.” I assume we’re going to be tested on the last few chapters the week after we get back, and then it’s on to review from the beginning.

@neekzg: what textbook are you guys using?

Pageant
10char

The American Pageant

wow everyone’s using The Pageant. Are we the only ones not using it??

Pageant too. It has a great source of information, but in my opinion, the quality of the book is being weakened by the vast number of metaphors. Nevertheless, I’m rereading it for the AP exam. Afterward, I’ll read AMSCO.

wow you’re rereading the textbook! I’m impressed.

I want some comprehensive knowledge for each AP subject I’m studying. That’s why I’m reading textbooks for every AP subject I’m taking this year before reading the review books. It may seem a waste of a lot of time, but I want to be scrupulous in my studies.

And thank you for the praise.
