hello. i am applying to rice for premed. i know i am going to be premed but im not so sure which major i want to do. since rice tells us that we hafta choose one of the six departments, which one would be the easiest to get admitted to? Humanities, natural sciences, or social sciences? Please respond.

i don't think it matters.

honestly--do what you liek to do!

I doubt it would make any difference at all in the sense you're looking at it.

However, if you were a very strong math/science person with mediocre social studies grades, you would not make a strong applicant if you applied as a history major. Rather, you would do better if you applied as a math or science major. Just pick the major that is most consistent with your passions and your transcript.

ps - obviously this is just my personal understanding (I'm an applicant, too)

Kind of off-topic, but is Sports Management slightly easier to get into?
