Which major would be best to pick in this case?

I am trying to eventually internally transfer into Computer Science and was currently denied the major upon my first admission to the University, which is this year. So I have to pick from a list of available majors now, which of these would be best to go into until I try to transfer? (I just handpicked these two that seemed to make the most sense, I didn’t want any liberal arts majors which is what all the other options were)

  1. Geological Sciences, entry-level
  2. Undergraduate Studies, Undeclared

It doesn’t matter. If you can see yourself being a geological sciences major, go that way. If not, UGS is fine, and the advisors there are trained to help students find their way through the University.

Do note that internal transfer to C S is very competitive and it would be a good idea to have a realistic alternate plan.
