Which schools allow switch to ED2 after EA deferral

The two I happened to know about when originally posting were Haverford (ED II 1/5, RD 1/15) and Macalester (ED II 1/1, RD 1/15). So I believe this is NOT what you were asking for, meaning these are mid-January RD schools with early-January ED II deadlines, not early-January RD schools with even earlier ED II deadlines.

Doing a quick search for December ED II deadlines (using what purports to be a complete list), I found only three:

Grove City (ED II 12/1, RD 1/20)
RPI (ED II 12/15, RD 1/15)
Reed (ED II 12/20, RD 1/15)

So, still no, although probably worth knowing about those early ED II deadlines anyway if any of those colleges are of interest.

Thanks for the run down. And DANG RPI! Like, hey kids get deferred at your ED/REA and now you have like 6 hours to ED2 here!

Ok Iā€™m very excited about thisā€¦someone posted in the Tulane EA/ED thread that last year Tulane EA decisions were actually released Dec 20th. IF they do that again this year (or anytime before Jan 1), that sort of ā€œsolvesā€ the problem Iā€™ve been concerned about because there would still be time to more fully consider all ED2 options. Fingers crossed!

I had the same thought. Not cool, RPI, not cool.

Lafayette allows students to turn their regular application into ED2. Over 50% of the class comes from ED.

Not quite the same but similar.
