Also, currently, I regret not applying to schools that are farther south...it keeps snowing here. I'm starting to get annoyed.

I wish I applied to Princeton.

Schools that I though were reaches actually turned out to be matches, which turned out perfectly for me, so I'm happy.

I regret not applying to NYU, Vanderbilt, Georgetown, Cornell, American, and Northwestern.

As far as reaches and matches, fortunately my match is my number one.

I regret not applying to Brown and NYU because I knew tons of people who were applying.

I wish I had applied to:

Amherst, Williams, Wellesley, Barnard, Mount Holyoke, Dartmouth, Duke, Davidson, New College of Florida, Pomona, Claremont McKenna, Pitzer, Scripps.

Amherst, Williams, and Dartmouth are crapshoots for anyone, but I'm pretty sure I could've gotten into the others. I just knew that I couldn't afford them if I did get in -- I'd be the average student at each of these and my merit aid wouldn't be substantial, and my parents really couldn't afford to pay anything towards my education.

It's all right, though. I went to my LAC and graduated a year ago and I'm doing great :D

i wish i applied to BU because i really like boston, and it's a good backup for NYU.

i wish i hadn't applied to so many safeties.

I wish I had applied to Wake Forest and UVA. =[
I wish I had not applied to soo many safety school.

The college panic seems to have gotten many to apply to more safeties than were necessary. That wave passed over me though because I have only 2, and only one of which I'd actually be willing to go to.

Same here. I only applied to maybe 2 that could be considered safeties. But on here I'm reading about people that applied to up to 6 safeties.

I kinda wish I hadn't applied to Macalester. I feel bad because I basically know nothing about the school, I haven't visited, and if I get in almost anywhere else I won't go there. I only really applied because my counselor reccommended it.

I should have applied to UCSD and UCSB or UCSC. I got this thing in my head that I didn't want to go to public school even though there is no way in hell I can afford private school on what my family makes, so I have to sit here for the next 3 months and hope they like me enough to give me a lot of aid. I even had ELC >_< uggg I feel like an idiot now.

I should have applied to Occidental and USC too, since they give full aid. Grrrrr, oh well, too late.

yeah I realized after completing and submitting my apps that I only had one public school on the list...lol.

I wish I had applied to Brown, cause one of my best friends is going there.

Not applying to Northwestern. For some reason it didn't even come on my radar. I think it was the location, but I think I really missed out on a great school.

Ah well. If I get into either NYU or UT-Austin, I won't be regretting anything.

I regret not applying to Knox. They sent me a free app and everything. Also, Cornell. Should have just taken that chance.

regret applying to : UC Berkeley
regret not applying to : purdue and CSUFullerton

I wish I applied to one of NYU's special programs and maybe a UC

Reed and Northwestern

I notice quite a few people seemed to have overlooked Northwestern (including me lol)
