Who's going to take the AMC 10/12 in Feb 2009?

I did horrible. I think I did better last year, honestly.

It was horrible. I made some careless errors :( I think I got a 96, which would suck.

Can we start asking what some of the answers were? I'm pretty sure I got either a 94 or 100.5 and the suspense is killing me lol.

edit: i'm pretty sure everyone's taken it.

I think I got about 12-13 on my own, and guessed on about 5 more. Hopefully I'll get a 100+, but I would honestly be satisfied with a 80+

so how bout some answers

13 was E .

Does anyone remember 14?

I took the AMC12 for the first time last year, as a junior, got a 17/25 102. i didn't even study lol. I answered every question because I forgot about the whole leaving things blank part. lol

I will be taking it the 24th of this month. I'm kind of nervous.

I ought to study this year. How were the questions?

A little disappointed with myself this year... 22 correct, 1 incorrect, 2 blank for a score of 135. I made an INCREDIBLY stupid mistake to get that 1 incorrect. Literally adding wrong. Adding ONE-DIGIT NUMBERS wrong.

ANSWERS EDITED OUT THANKS COOLWATER

When do we get the scores? Mondayish?

i think we get " official" scores in 3 weeks

Mod - please delete all discussions. Several schools have not taken the tests.

For the record, I didn't take the test, so I have no way of knowing what the answer to #13 was.

Thanks, I didn't know. I edited my post.

oh *****. my bad. i erased mine

Regardless you took the test or not, you should not discuss anything.

i'm sorry coolweather... i honestly did not know.. i just thought the honor code had to do with cheating off someone else during the test. i didnt know it applied to after.... sorry

The cover of the test says: "After the contest period, permission to make copies of problems in paper or electronic form including posting on web-pages for educational use is granted without fee provided that copies are not made or distributed for profit or commercial advantage and that copies bear the copyright notice."

I interpret that as saying that we can discuss them after all schools have taken it, which I thought they had.

Do you know that people don't even allow to discuss the SAT early on this board? A MIT caliber student should know this rule.

Can't believe I topped my score last year =)
